Hi Tony – This a gallery of the photograph’s you kindly lent me recently. Original Bowhay - Pic. No.1
Original Bowhay - Pic. No.1
This is the large Bowhay picture. Do you know who the four people shown are? And do you have an idea of when it was taken?
Original Bowhay - Pic. No.2
Original Bowhay - Pic. No.2
Do you know who the three people shown are? And an approximate date? I understand that the thatcher is Mr Hawker and Phylis Gibson stands far left. Is this correct and am I right in thinking that you do not know who the other 3 ladies are? The reverse of this picture reads “Mr Hawker re-thatching Bowhay - ? 1937/38"
Original Bowhay - Pic. No.3
Original Bowhay - Pic. No.3
There are no people in this postcard picture of Bowhay. Is anything else known? Were all the Bowhay pictures taken on similar dates?
Original Bowhay - Pic. No.4
Original Bowhay - Pic. No.4
This is the picture with the two corners cut away. Is there anything else you can tell me about this? It is printed as postcard and there are two copies. I presume this a similar period to the others and not much else in known.

Is the above correct and do know who the unnamed shown as ?? are? Where was this picture taken?
Tony Winter & sister at Yew Tree Cottage c.1953

Is this description correct? How long did your family live in this house?
Charles Gibson - August1967
Charles Gibson - Aug1967
Taken in the end Bungalow of Doatshayne Lane. Probably number 9 (Higher) Doatshayne Lane, which fronts onto the road leading up to Yonder Mount. "AUG 1967" is printed on the reverse. Is this correct and is anything else known about this picture?
Musbury Church Interior by the altar
Musbury Church Interior by the altar
I believe you didn't know the history of this picture, is that correct? It does seem that it was taken to show something in particular, as it is an unusual angle. I haven't yet had a chance to compare this with the church interior today.
Musbury School Group Photograph (younger years only?) - Probably 1948
Musbury School Group Photograph (younger years only?) - Probably 1948
This seems to be a picture taken on the same day as a group photograph, taken at the same location, of all the school pupils. Presumably it is just the younger years, which may have been a separate class?
