The following are the result of research and also discussions with the current owner in November 2020. This is only a start, but a framework for research has been created. More of Musbury’s farming history may be stored Devon Heritage Centre and there are many more 20th newspaper cuttings to be catalogued. This particular farm was in demesne, which meant it was owned by the Musbury Lords of the Manor , so more may be learnt by investigating their family histories.
